WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH OR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
As of January 26, 2015 Section 1510 of the New York State Cemetery Law allows the lot owner to inter pet cremation remains as long as the cremation was carried out by an actual pet crematorium, the interment is incidental to the burial of human remains, and a letter of authorization has been given to the lot owner by the Cemetery Corporation. We will be happy to provide this letter on request. If the pet passes first, the owner wouldhave to keep the cremation remains and then inter them at the time of the human interment. The pet remains can also go into a columbarium niche with the owner if so desired.
We do provide intermits during the winter months. Depending on just what has to be done, there are extra charges for things like plowing, snowblowing, digging, sanding, and salting that are given on a case by case basis at the time of requested intrement. If the ground is too frozen to dig, we poor charcoal on the plot and let it burn overnight which makes it possible to dig the next day. Sometmes we have to use propane heaters to help. If all efforts fail, we have a vault and we can store the remains until the weather clears. The video below shows s sample of this process.
